Privacy policy
Template: review against your jurisdiction (and have it checked) before enabling ads.
This policy explains how D365World handles information when you visit the site.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. It gives us aggregate figures such as page views.
- Email. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
- Page feedback. If you answer "Was this page helpful?", suggest a correction, or send us an error from the error lookup, we store the page address, the date, the kind of feedback and the text you wrote. We don't store your IP address, browser details or any account, and we mask email addresses in the text. We use it only to fix and improve pages. Your browser remembers that you voted on a page (in local storage, not a cookie) so we don't ask again.
- Error lookup. Matching an error you paste happens in your browser. The text is sent to us only if you click "Send this error", after ids, numbers, quoted values, emails and links have been removed.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to This week in F&O, your email address is stored by our newsletter provider, Buttondown, and used only to send the newsletter. You confirm the subscription by email first, and every issue has an unsubscribe link that removes you straight away. We never sell or share the list. Buttondown's own privacy policy applies to the data it processes for us.
Advertising
We may use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent tool before personalised ads are shown.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, the destination site may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase. Their privacy policies apply.
